it was my understanding that the closer a planets stats was to your homeworld, the more of a max it would have when colonized...

under this assumption, this makes no sense:

now, my question is this: considering this, it looks like as though ovooda should be a LOT higher max then ethillordor, yet it's the other way around... what gives? is the 'centigrade' stat the only one worth looking at? or is it pretty much random?

and normally I don't look through all the stats like this, but ovooda ended up catching my eye when looking at certain worlds controlled by someone else (so I saw there max, not mine)

The stats are used for suitability, but they are weighted....
