Having problems signing up.

When I try to send the orders online, select "Copy out this goes orders" or try to save the orders to file, I get the following error:

I'm running it on Windows XP with the following Java version:

java version "1.5.0_06"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-b05, mixed mode)

Hmm, not sure why that's not working.

I'm also running XP and have the same version of Java as you, and I can submit orders online ok.

As a side note. The only way to submit orders at present is the online way. The other options in the client aren't working as yet.

Oh yeah, nice to see you again Kindred by the way.

Any chance of a return to the battlesphere? Assuming your not already there operating under a new clan name.

I broke join orders. I have fixed it already, will be releasing the patch tonight.

I won't be playing Tartarus any more as I played that to death, but I intend giving RipSpace a go and may play that for a few years or so Wink

As to whether I play as Kindred or something else, I'm not sure. I intended to just use the Kindred name during beta testing. But I think I read somewhere that the beta test races could get to carry on when the game goes live. Not sure I want the baggage of the Kindred hanging over me in the real game Smile

Alternatively, hide very close by while known targets target it, and if none do, goad them into it.
