There are key shortcuts to order your ship.

Space bar toggles turns - from the current to the last, and back. Selecting an enemy ship while viewing last turn tells you what it did.

Pressing f and left clicking on a ship or hex will fire a drone at it.

Pressing c and left clicking will add to an existing ship move - so you can control it's move route.

Pressing t will make the ship flash - so you can see it is the selected ship.

Pressing x will give you the coordinates, gravity well etc.

Pressing alt-Z will zoom the map in/out. The zoomed out view is vital for ease of play.
