The cackling of the ancients has resounded through empty hills and valleys.

The hulks, and ancient nano ground by wind and the lashings of chaos and time.

Over 300 clans fought and died amid the mountains and lakes....But no longer.

Unless this God can wake some lone voices.

are there any ark players left out there?

I can say i have been playing for far too long Smile
from 6 months after the birth of the first ever titan to now
the birth, growth and death of many a great clan
bulimic, cowputts, titanawk, Gikjl from the first great era
Ratsgut, Bac Ho, Retribution, Krieg Machine, from the second great era,
I know i have missed many great clans and my appologies to those i have not named, but over the years i have fought in many great campains, both as a winner and looser (thanks to Genesis for reminding me that enemies should never be trusted too get to close to your hall when a ceasefire is in effect)

The Ark is truly dead, but the server runs the tumbleweed still.

All that bio-mass with no harvesting.

I tried to sign up to the Ark a while ago but with no success ...

Maybe all the Ark clans saw the impending doom approaching and decided to leave ....

Yep.

No one can sign up to the ark. It is a dead battle sphere, floating in the void with mad elders upon it. Or rather, their decaying hulks.

does this mean you can't sign up for tartarus... or just a certain 'version' (or server) of it? not quite sure what you meant by the 'ark'...

because I figured I'd try out tartarus finally and I can't... I downloaded the game file, but everytime I try to run it, it comes up with the error:
'failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from C:\games\tartarus.jar'

the funny thing is I have no problem playing ripspace (aside from the fact I have to open up the ripspace.jar file directly, not the runit.bat, whenever I try opening either runit.bat's it just opens up a console window and closes again)

was gonna just put this in the bugs part... but then I thought maybe this is what you did?

--edit:
ok, nvm, I found the problem with the runit.bat file (was looking for wrong folder name in java directory, had to switch the 01 to 10, lol) after this it worked using the runit.bat (but still not by using .jar file directly, though now I'm guessing that's supposed to happen, lol)

on a similar note since I got it to work I see what this was about now, lol Embarassed

I have about 4 things to code up in Tartarus
1) Hall harvesting
2) Auto login as per RipSpace
3) Making tartarus.jar work like ripspace
4) that other thing, where is the list....hmmm

But, I'm taking a break from coding for some days, so soon....
